OUD
Laos • Cambodia
Resinous heartwood, decades in the making. Animalic, smoked, endless.
Eau de Parfum • Paris

Chapter One
Six compositions. One obsession. Each NOIRÉ is matured for six months in darkness before a single flacon is filled.
The Signature Collection
Nothing is released until it is finished. The house has produced six compositions in eleven years — each numbered, each poured by hand in the seventh arrondissement.

The most exclusive composition
A study in darkness. Aged Cambodian oud is layered over saffron and rendered leather, then held in place by a resinous amber base. Worn close to the skin, it behaves less like a fragrance and more like an atmosphere.

About the House
NOIRÉ was founded in 2015 above a locksmith's workshop on the rue de Bellechasse, with one rule: never release a composition to meet a season.
Our philosophy is subtraction. Where a commercial fragrance may carry ninety materials, a NOIRÉ carries between fourteen and thirty-one — each strong enough to justify its presence. What remains is legible on skin from the first minute to the twelfth hour.
Inspiration arrives from architecture and absence: the acoustics of an empty church, the smell of rain on limestone, a velvet curtain closing. These are written into a three-sentence brief before a single material is weighed.
We buy at origin. Agarwood from two families in Laos, orris from a single Tuscan field, roses picked before sunrise in Taif. Fewer than one in nine harvests is accepted into our library, and accepted lots are never blended with a later year.

Every flacon is hand-poured, capped in solid champagne-gold metal, wax-sealed and numbered. Nothing leaves Paris untouched by hand.
We do not discount, and we do not wholesale. Distribution is limited to our boutique, our maison online and eleven invited houses worldwide.
The weight of the glass, the resistance of the cap, the paper's grain — a fragrance is judged before it is ever smelled.
The Art of Creation
A memory, a material, a room at dusk. Every NOIRÉ begins as a written brief of no more than three sentences — the discipline of the house is knowing what to leave out.
Our perfumer travels to source: agarwood in Laos, roses in Taif, orris in Tuscany. Fewer than one in nine harvests is accepted into the library.
Between forty and two hundred trials. Each modification is weighed to the milligram, then read blind on skin over seven consecutive days.
The finished concentrate rests in darkness for six months. Molecules settle, edges soften — nothing about this stage can be accelerated.
Hand-poured into heavy French glass, capped in solid champagne-gold metal, sealed with wax and numbered by hand.
